Port St. Lucie, Florida - The Treasure Coast Dynamites continue to bolster its 2015 roster by adding defender Sia Dagrzikos, forward Sadarah Williams and re-signing of, last year's young sensation, 14 years old defender Nika Gorski.
Dagrzikos a junior and team captain at NYIT and Williams a sophomore at Alabama A&M will bring toughness, speed and leadership to the team. "I know both players very well because they have played with my youth academy, Omega Select International, prior going to college. I'm looking forward to see Sia switching the point of our attack to create plays going forward, while being a wall preventing opposing players from crossing our back line. Sadarah, who is also running track in college, is very versatile. She can play many positions on the field." Said head coach Gaspard Dalexis.
Gorski at 14 years old was probably the youngest starter in the WPSL and one of the youngest starters in any top flight women's league worldwide in 2014. " With Treasure Coast Dynamites last year, I was not put on the bench then played in some irrelevant minutes at the end of games. I was actually the starter in five league games and played over 60 minutes in each. I really appreciate that my coaches treated me by the same standards of my older teammates. They showed good faith in my abilities as a player and respected me as a person. I might have only been 14 years old but I still contributed a lot to the team. The girls also did not judge me based on my age but by my skill on the field. They all helped me to grow and to be the best that I could be.They also taught me a lot more about the game of soccer and how great it is to be part of a high level women's soccer team." Said Gorski.
" Although very young, Nika is a true professional. She is very independent, very focused, works hard and always looks for ways to get better. She is blessed with most of the tools and has a bright future ahead of her." Said Dalexis
The Treasure Dynamites WPSL 2015 home opener will be against FC Surge on May 31 at South County Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
