MEET TREASURE COAST DYNAMITES LATEST ADDITIONS

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - The Treasure Coast Dynamites Women Soccer
Team have added four new players to their roster: Cayman Island native, midfielder Shalisa Barnett (King University), Midfielder Marie Yasmine Alidou from Canada (Essex County), outside defender Brandy Maulucci (Seminole High School)) and central defender Elizabeth Stewart (Sister High School) will all play a big role in the Dynamites 2014 WPSL campaign.

Shalisa Barnett (King University)


The King University freshman from the Cayman Islands "saw action in 14 matches, making 11 starts... Scored in the 89th minute of her collegiate debut, the season-opening 3-1 loss at Brevard on September 5... Also scored on a free kick in the 16th minute of King's 5-1 win over Mount Olive in the regular season finale on November 2... Tied for fourth on the team with two goals... Marie Yasmine Alidou (Essex County)


The Essex County freshman from Montreal Canada was conference player of the week for scoring 1 goal and having 5 assists in a 6-0 win against Sussex County College along with scoring 4 goals and having 2 assists in a 9-0 win against Lackawanna...1st overall in assists (2013)...Started 12 games as a midfielder.

Brandy Maulucci (Omega Select)


The upcoming Assumption College freshman from Seminole (FL) was invited to train with the U-20 Puerto Rican National team as a defender. During her high school career, she helped lead her team to two regional finals, and averaged 12 goals per year.

Elizabeth Stewart (Sister High School, OR)


The Sisters High School center back from Oregon is a 3 year varsity starter and co-captain. She was awarded 1st team all-conference her sophomore and junior years and conference Player of the Year for 2012.
"The four commitments improve tremendously our chance of being respectable in our first season in the league," said Dynamites Head Coach Gaspard Dalexis. "Barnett is very versatile and consistent - Stewart with her 5'11" frame is good in the air - Alidou is very skillful with the ball - Maulucci is very quick. We are still very young. So, a little bit more experience would be welcome. Hopefully we can improve that area by the the end the last tryout date on May 24"
