Dynamites Announce New Player Additions to Roster
TREASURE COAST DYNAMITES ADD THREE COLLEGE PLAYERS
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL- The Treasure Coast Dynamites Women Soccer
Team announced today the signing of three college players this week. Goal keeper Karly Gustafson (North Carolina State), forward Estelle Esperance (Alab&M)
and midfielder Audrey Adkison (Harding) will all join the Dynamites for their 2014 WPSL campaign.
Karly Gustafson (North Carolina State University)
The North Carolina State sophomore from Fayetteville (NC) has recently been invited to camp with the Puerto Rican Women's National Team. She will be fighting for one of the 20 roster spots up for grab. If selected, she will then participate in the 2014 Women's Caribbean Cup and perhaps a participate in the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship, where the top three countries will earn an automatic qualification to the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Canada. As a freshman at NC State (2013): She "appeared in four matches, all of which were starts ... Posted a 2-2 record on the season ... Made 22 saves, allowed 10 goals, posted a GAA of 2.61 and a save percentage of 68.8 percent in 344:42 of play ... Earned wins over Navy (Aug. 23) and Longwood (Aug. 25) and lost games against Boston College (Sept. 29) and Maryland (Oct. 3) ... Made a career-high 10 saves against Maryland." Estelle Esperance (Alabama A&M University)
The speedy Haitian origin forward from Orlando scored a team leading 9 goals as a freshman for A&M in 2013.
Audrey Adkison (Harding University)
"Started all 18 games as a midfielder (2013) and recorded 3 goals, 3 assists" Adkison, who lives in Maine, was Harding's second leading scorer in 2013.
Head Coach Gaspard Dalexis, along with the Treasure Coast organization, will continue to build the roster to put a very competitive team in their first WPSL season in 2014.
